Symptom

  • Receive error "Unable to connect to SAP BW server Incomplete logon data.. (WIS10901) when trying to refresh BW reports with SNC" using clustered CMS's (2 or more clustered)
  • Error doesn't occur if using only 1 CMS and/or 1 reporting tier
  • Followed documentation in SAP KBs 1396213 and 1380466 to use server SNC and AD credential mapping to refresh BW reports with non BW users.

  • Issue Occurred in Business Objects XI 3.1 SP2 but could occur on other patch levels
  • Issue also can occur in SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform 4.0
