1456923 - Web Intelligence Advanced Creation Tool (Java Report Panel) compatibility with Java 1.6.0 Update 19 and higher causes Java warning and yellow, blank tables

Symptom

  • After installing Java 1.6.0 Update 19 on your workstation when launching Web Intelligence Advanced Creation/Editing Tool to create a new Web Intelligence document or modifying an existing document, you are presented with the warning:  "Java has discovered application components that could indicate a security concern."
  • You are given the option to block unsafe components from being run
  • Blocking the components prevents the tables from being viewed
  • Reports created when the option [Yes] is chosen displays the tables as dark blue and yellow lines and no data
  • After you click [Yes], a translated Web Intelligence Toobar changes to default English UI language
