1458652 - Using 'Publish' and 'Publish As' functions in the Xcelsius SAP menu

Symptom

Is is possible to use the 'Publish' and 'Publish As' functions in the Xcelsius SAP menu to save a .swf file as iView directly to a SAP portal?

Cause

This functionality does not currently exist in the product.

At present in the Xcelsius SAP menu the 'Publish' and 'Publish As' functions send only the .swf file to the BW system. It is not possible to save the .swf file as iView directly to a SAP portal.

Resolution

An Enhancement Request has been logged under ID ADAPT01401114. The Enhancement Request (ER) will be considered in terms of future product development when considering possible new features in the next major release. Please note that the ER may or may not be included depending on various factors.
