1464541 - Syntax error in update programs RMCX.... of self-defined info structures - Unicode flag cannot be set

Symptom

  • Dump: The current ABAP program "SAPLMCS0" had to be terminated because it has come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
  • Dump: Syntax error occurred in program "RMCX.... " in line 0: The program "RMCX...." is not Unicode-compatible.
  • Errors in programs RMCX.... : The sum of the offset and length exceeds the length of the start of the structure.
  • Transaction SE38: The unicode flag cannot be set for the update programs of self-defined infostructures.
