1468827 - Business Partner ID Does Not Match Number Range Definition

You assume the business partner ID should be between 1 to 1,000,000 as defined in number range definition, but when you create a new business partner, its ID is outside of this range, for example, 5,000,001.

During the project scoping phase, the number range should be defined. In most cases, the defined number ranges should not be changed to avoid any confusion.  However, if somebody of your project makes this change without notification to all other project participants, you will see this problem although the system behaves correctly.

You can find out who made the changes to the number ranges by following the below path:

0. Goto 'Business Configuration' work center 
0. Select 'Activity List'
0. Select 'Fine Tuning'
0. Click 'General Business Partners'
0. Click 'Define Number Ranges'
0. Click on 'History' button

Please contact the relevant person and resolve the conflict.
