1470263 - Euro sign displayed as a square in Xcelsius dashboard with text data

• The Euro (€) sign is displayed incorrectly in an Xcelsius dashboard despite showing correctly in the text file.
• A white square (□) is displayed instead.

0. Select Data->Connection
0. Create a new XML data connection
0. Select text/xml as MIME type and insert the URL pointing to the source data .txt file
0. Map the data output to the spreadsheet as required
0. Create a new component in the dashboard to display the data
0. Preview the dashboard

• The .txt file has been saved with ANSI encoding.
• Flash Player requires UTF-8 encoding to display the full character set

0. Open the .txt file that feeds the data into the dashboard
0. Select File->Save as...
0. Scroll down to "UTF-8" in the "Encoding" selection drop-down menu.
0. Save the file
0. Reload the dashboard preview in Xcelsius.
