1471773 - BusinessObjects installer starts up when new user logs onto Windows Vista machine

Symptom

  • When a newly created Windows user logs onto his profile on a Windows Vista machine where Business Objects Client Tools XI 3.1 is already installed, the BusinessObjects installer starts up automatically.
  • This issue occurs even if the new user has local Administrator rights.
