Symptom

  • Install BusinessObjects Enterprise (BOE) XI 3.1 or XI 3.1 SP2.
  • Installation fails.
  • Error: "Database access error. Reason [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/6000] SQL0107N  The name "AUDIT_EVENT_CUID_IDX" is too long.  The maximum length is "18".  SQLSTATE=42622"
