SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

1477493 - Mismatch Datatypes on Designer from SAP BW Query.

Symptom

  • Some Objects on Universe are showing different datatype as they are on SAP BW.
  • If those obejcts are used on Web Intelligence  you will get # Datatype Error.
  • The datatype on SAP BW it is a Date type however in Designer is being displaying as Number.
  • Some of them are being displaying correctly even though they are the same datatype.
