1479260 - XI 3.1: Auditing files are not empty and removed

Symptom

  1. Audit files are not empty and removed from the <BOE_Install>\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\Auditing folder
  2. Central Management Server (CMS) full logs show errors like:

For Oracle:

Oracle error found: ErrorMessage(ORA-00001: unique constraint (BOAUDIT.AUDIT_EVENT_1) violated

For DB2:

DB2  error found:  ErrorMessage([IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/LINUXX8664]  SQL0803N   One or more values 
in the INSERT statement, UPDATE statement, or foreign key update caused by a DELETE statement are
not valid because the primary key, unique constraint or unique index identified by "1" constrains table
"BOADM01.SERVER_PROCESS" from having duplicate values for the index key.  SQLSTATE=23505

For MS SQL:

SQLServer  error found: ErrorMessage([Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client   12.0][SQL Server]Cannot 
insert duplicate key row in object 'dbo.AUDIT_EVENT' with unique index 'AUDIT_EVENT_1'.

For Sybase SQL Anywhere:

[ODBC Sybase Wire Protocol driver][SQL Server]Attempt to insert duplicate key row in object 'AUDIT_EVENT' with unique index 'AUDIT_EVENT_1'

For MySQL:

This problem might also happen on the following indexes and tables:AUDIT_EVENT_1 on table AUDIT_EVENT

  • AUDIT_DETAIL_1 on table AUDIT_DETAIL
  • SERVER_PROCESS_1 on table SERVER_PROCESS
  • EVENT_TYPE_1 on table EVENT_TYPE
  • DETAIL_TYPE_1 on table DETAIL_TYPE
  • APPLICATION_TYPE_1 on table APPLICATION_TYPE
