1483794 - Weblogic server hangs due to locked threads

Symptom

  • Periodically, Weblogic 10 stops responding to end user requests and must be restarted
  • When logging on to InfoView the logon hangs and is never displayed
  • Thread dumps taken at the time of the outage shows many instances of the locked thread shown below
