1483854 - What is the maximum number of rows or data cells that can be exported from Voyager to Excel, CSV or PDF?

Symptom

  • Error Message "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: java heap space" while exporting Voyager Workspace to Excel, CSV or PDF having high volume of data.
  • mdas.log file reflects the following error message:
    com.businessobjects.multidimensional.services.ServerException: Your query [<query name>] contains [<total number of cells>] cells, which exceeds the pre-defined limit of [<multidimensional.services.export.items.limit value defined in mdas.properties
    file>]. Please decrease your query size or ask your administrator to increase the cell limit.
