1483951 - The excel instance fails to open in Business Objects Enterprise XI R2

Symptom

When trying to open a successful excel instance, the followng error is returned:
"It is not possible to red the file".  Followed by:
Errors ahev been detected in the file 'U:\$Transfert\~fc_d0462b2b103e22.xls'.  The file is damaged and can not be repared.

This happens with a document containing more than one report (tab).
