1489539 - Refreshing a Web Intelligence document appears to hang and does not finish processing

Symptom

  • When refreshing a Web Intelligence document in DHTML Viewer or in Java Report Panel, the document appears to run forever and does not complete processing.
  • Tracing of the report engine reveals that the query is sent to the database multiple times but never finishes.
  • The WICDZ_i:answerPrompts function appears to loop and the WICDZ_i:getMap function is never called.
