Using Crystal Reports Viewer 2008 to open a report based off of a SAP data source
The viewer will generate an error that states it doesn't have complete data, that it cannot retrieve data, and that it will not open the report
Environment
Crystal Reports Viewer 2008
SAP data source (BW or R/3)
Cause
A SAP datasource requires access to verify authentication and security, and since Crystal Reports Viewer 2008 is unable to access any data it will fail
Resolution
There is currently no resolution for this issue as it is an inherant limitation of Crystal Reports Viewer 2008
