Reproducing the Issue

  1. In Crystal Reports create a report based on any data source.
  2. Insert one or more subreports to the report, or insert at least one group.
  3. Export the report to MS Excel format.
     
    Notice that all the data is exported in one spreadsheet in MS Excel. How to export the subreports data or groups to different tab of the speadsheet in MS Excel?

Cause

  • There is no option in Crystal Reports or Crystal Reports for Enterprise to export subreports or groups to different tabs of a spreadsheet when exporting a report to MS Excel format.
