Symptom

Running the Diagnostic tool against a Business Objects Enterprise XI 3.1 SP3 full build installed on Linux failed with an error :

Error creating Dataproviders. A database error occured. The database error text is: (CS) "Unable to bind to Configuration object" . (WIS 10901) 
-  Error viewing Web Intelligence Document. A document with this name does not exist 
-  Scheduling Web Intelligence Report failed. --Document: " Diagnostic Web Intelligence Document Test"  not found.

You can find this log in the file called TestResults.xml from INSTALDIR\Business Objects\common\4.0\java\lib\log\
