1498897 - How to use Java (JRE) 1.5 by default with XI 3.1

Symptom

  • Some users have applications that are not compatible with JRE 1.6. Requirement is like to change this so it only installs Java 1.6 if the user has a lower version of Java than 1.5 or if they don't have it at all.
  • BO XI R 3.1 uses JAVA 1.6 update 3 by default. Hence, try to push the same version if it is not installed on client machines for Java report panel.
