1503758 - List of values retrieved by a combined query are not shown sorted.

Symptom

  • After running the query {Select ‘All’ from dual union all Select distinct employee.name from employee;} in Universe Designer using IBM DB2 database, 'All' gets appended at the end in result set (LOV).
  • The data shows the similar behavior if the SQL is executed at IBM DB2 database level.
  • The option 'Do not generate SQL before running' has been checked after modifying the query in Universe.
