Symptom

  • In a Web Intelligence document, if a dimension contains numeric values, COUNT() will default to using ALL instead of DISTINCT.
  • This is contradictory to what is in the WebI Product Guides
  • Appears to only be an issue in XIR2 SP6
  • XIR2 SP5 works as expected as well as XI 3.1 all FixPack and Service Pack levels
