  • How to avoid hardcoding the username/password in QaaWS connection?

Environment

  • Xcelsius 2008

Resolution

  1. Launch Xcelsius
  2. Go to Data connections
  3. Select Query As A Web Service connection
  4. Paste the WSDL URL
  5. Add '&QaaWSHeader.sessionID' at the end of the WSDL URL

Example: http://<server_name>:<Port>/dswsbobje/qaawsservices/biws?WSDL=1&cuid=Ad98CucjQ89At8RnCblGAEw&QaaWSHeader.sessionID 

    6.   Click on 'Import'
