1517512 - Error; Either the authenticity of the crystal reports registry key is not valid or the runtime was not installed correctly

• VS .NET application using Crystal Reports 2008 (12.x) SDK
• Application is deployed to a Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2
• After deploying the correct runtime for CR 2008 the application throws the error:

Either the authenticity of the crystal reports registry key is not valid or the runtime was not installed correctly

• Crystal Reports 2008 is only 32 bit
• Compile the application as "32 bit"
