1517531 - How to avoid the text that appear at the top right hand side in prompts window in Crystal Reports?

Symptom

  • The parameter prompt show a text at the right hand side.
  • For cascading prompts, at right hand side, an unwanted text shows up on top of the prompt window upon refreshing it. Is is possible to remove this text?

Environment

  • SAP Crystal Reports 2013
  • SAP Crystal Reports 2016

Reproducing the Issue

  1. In Crystal Reports, create a report using a dynamic cascading parameters.
  2. Refresh the report
  3. Notice the text appearing in top right hand side of the prompts window.

Cause

This is a default behavior.

Resolution

  • The suggestion is to propose a product enhancement on SAP Customer Influence.
