Symptom

  • Error 06553 is issued when creating a Purchase Requisition (PR) using ME51N.
  • Create a PR in ME51N and when the tab "Assign Source of Supply" is pressed, an error is issued.
  • Error message 06553 'Not possible to assign a source of supply' is issued when creating a PR using ME51N for a related material, plant and purchasing organisation and the tab "Assign Source of Supply" is pressed.
