Environment

Resolution
- To create a read-only report in Crystal Reports:
- Open the report in Crystal Reports 2011 or above.
- Under the menu "File", select "Export - Export Report"
- In the "Export" window, in the "Format" drop-down list, select "Crystal Reports Read-Only (RPTR)"
- In the 'Destination' field, choose the required destination.
- Click "OK"
- When exporting a report to "Crystal Reports Read-Only format, it will create a report with the extension (.rptr)
- This report can only be viewed in:
- Crystal Reports Viewer,
- In application using .NET report viewers,
- SAP BI LaunchPad on the SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform / SAP Crystal Server.
- Important: RPTR files cannot be opened in Crystal Reports.
