1533830 - Http Status 500 Error On Previewing SWF from Infoview

Symptom

  • Create a dashboard in Xcelsius 2008
  • Export the dashboard to Enterprise and try to preview it from InfoView
  • Error : Http Status 500

Environment

Xcelsius 2008 SP3

BOXIR3.1 SP3

Flash 9/10.0/10.1

Reproducing the Issue

1) Create a dashboard and export it to Enterprise

2) Try to preview the dashboard from InfoView

3) Receive Error: Https Status 500

Cause

Xcelsius war file is not deployed properly

Resolution

1) In Central Configuration  Manager (CCM) , stop Tomcat

2) Go to installation directory (for example C: /Program Files/Business Objects/tomcat55/webapps/Xcelsius )

3) Rename Xcelsius folder to Xcelsius.old

4) In CCM , start Tomcat

5) After Tomcat is up and running try to preview again from InfoView
