Environment

Resolution
- To not display the line axis of a chart in Crystal Reports:
- Open the report on which you have a bar or line chart in Crystal Reports.
- Hide the chart frame.
- Right click on the chart, and select "Format Chart Frame..."
Notice the frame is highlighted. The chart in Crystal Reports is context sensitive, if you do not see the option "Format Chart Frame..." click on the chart frame area until the whole frame is highlighted, then right click to format the frame.
- In the "Format Chart Frame" window, under the tab "Border", select the color: "Transparent"
- Click "OK" to accept the change.
- Hide the Y axis line.
- On the left side of the chart, right click on the Y axis, and select "Data (Y) Axis Options..."
- In the "Data (Y) Axis Settings" window, under the tab "Layout", uncheck the option "Show Axis Line"
- Click "OK" to accept the change.
- Hide the X axis Line.
- At the botom of the chart, right click on the X axis, and select "Group (X) Axis Options..."
- In the "Group (X) Axis Settings" window, under the tab "Layout", uncheck the option "Show Axis Line"
- Click "OK" to accept the change.
- Remove the gridlines.
- Right click on the chart, and select "Chart Options..."
- In the "Chart Options" window, under the tab "Gridlines", uncheck the group and data axis.
- Click "OK" to accept the change.
- Format the Zero Line, to be transparent
- Right click on the X axis line, and select "Format Zeroline..."
- In the "Format Zero Line" window, under the tab "Line", set the color to: "Tansparent"
- Click "OK" to accept the change.
Now, the chart will no longer have lines for the X and Y axis.
