1536882 - Classes not appearing in available objects list in WebI Rich Client or Java Report Panel after translation and selecting viewing locale of translated language

Symptom

  • Some classes missing from available objects list when editing or creating new Web Intelligence documents
  • This occurs after translating the Universe the WebI report is based on and switching viewing preference to locale of the translated language
  • Switching the locale back to the Universe's original language allows all objects to be listed
  • Reviewing the logs shows this error is reported:
    • *ERROR:C3_cdbQTServer:(A) DataSource MUST have a name : (pRootItem->GetItemName()!=0 && *pRootItem->GetItemName()!=0) [kc3qtds.cpp;4207]
