1537491 - Generated ABAP Code does not reflect changes made in Designer - Data Services (versions 12.2.1.3 to 12.2.2.3)

Symptom

  • The value for cntbuf is not correct.
  • The change made to the number of rows buffered is not showing up in the ABAP code.
  • The job server DSConfig.txt parameter, SapBufferSize, is updated when the "Maximum number of rows buffered..." setting is updated in Designer.
  • When the ABAP code is generated (or generated and uploaded) the value for cntbuf in the ABAP code is taken from DSConfig.txt on the Designer machine.

  • Job server is RedHat Enterprise Linux 5.5
  • SAP ECC
  • Windows Designer machine is not used as a job server
