1538493 - Error "DD/MM/YYYY to DD/MM/YYYY; Cost center XYZ must be below a Business Residence. It is also possible to flag both definitions on the same org unit." while Checking an Org Structure

When you try to check the Org Structure created by you, system throws below error messages;

DD/MM/YYYY to DD/MM/YYYY; Cost center XYZ must be below a Business Residence. It is also possible to flag both definitions on the same org unit.

DD/MM/YYYY to DD/MM/YYYY; Org Unit XYZ must be below a Business Residence. It is also possible to flag both definitions on the same org unit.

1. Go to Organizational Management workcenter.
2. Select Org Structures view.
3. Select and Edit the respective Org Structure.
4. Select Check button and choose Check All option.

System throws above error message.

The reason for the error is due the fact, that the Org structure has a valid from date (Timelines) for its Business Reseidence which is later than its Org unit's business residence valid from date.

The error message will be resolved, If you maintain the correct date for the Org Structure. Steps are as follows:

1. Go to Organizational Management workcenter.
2. Select Org Structures view.
3. Select and Edit the respective Org Structure.
4. Go to Timelines tab.
5. Change the Vaild from date of the Org unit's Business Residence.
6. Select Check button and choose Check All option.
7. Select Save button.
8. Select Activate and choose Activate All option.
