1538733 - 'Publish failed' intermittent error when publishing Xcelsius Dashboard to SAP portal

• Unable to publish an Xcelsius dashboard to SAP portal
• Error: 'Publish failed'

• Xcelsius 2008 SP3
• SAP Netweaver SP7 01

1. Launch Xcelsius
2. Open a dashboard
3. Go to SAP -> Publish                                                                                                   
4. Error 'Publish failed'
5. If you try the second time, the publish action works fine

• The issue has been identified as a bug: #ADAPT01494238 

This issue is currently under investigation by Product Group and it is scheduled to be addressed in the next Service Pack for Xcelsius 2008.

Workaround:

Close and re-open the Xcelsius application
