1539875 - Does Windows Authentication mode for MS SQL Server works for BusinessObjects hosted on *NIX Server in BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1?

Symptom

  • There are two types of Authentication that MS SQL Server provides: Windows Authentication and SQL Authentication.
  • With Windows Authentication Mode, the report throws an error "A database error has occurred. The database error text is: 523 586. (WIS 10901)".
  • Using SQL Authentication, everything works fine.
