Symptom

Duplicate values are displayed in Y axis when using Stacked Column Chart in Xcelsius

Environment

  • SAP BusinessObjects Xcelsius 2008 Service Pack (SP) 3

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create Excel data refer to the attached PPT.
  2. Launch Xcelsius.
  3. Click Data  > Import, select the Excel file created in step1.
  4. Drag and drop the Stacked Column Chart  to the Canvas area
  5. Select the chart.
  6. Go to General Tab.
  7. In Data field, select the data range for data, and data range for Columns.
  8. Enlarge the Y axis in the chart.
    =>Observe that Y axis is displayed as repeating values.

Cause

The issue is caused by product defect.

 

Resolution

This issue has been fixed in the following version:
  • SAP BusinessObjects Xcelsius 2008 Service Pack (SP) 3 Fix Pack (FP) 1. (FP 3.1)
