How to configure Sofa and MDX trace for Crystal Report

Environment

  • Crystal Report 2008
  • BusinessObjects Integration Kit for SAP XI 3.1
  • Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2

Resolution

***WARNING***: The following resolution involves editing the registry. Using the Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems. Use the Registry Editor at your own risk. Refer to KB 1323322'' for more information.

  1. Go to Start.
  2. Click Run.
  3. Type "regedit" and click on OK, Now it opens the Registry Editor.
  4. Find the key: Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Business Objects\Suite 12.0\SAP.
  5. Add StringValue names “TraceDir” for log and specify log path.
  6. Find the key: Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Business Objects\Suite 12.0\SAP\Each Driver.
  7. Find the existing DWORD value which is named “Trace"，change the value to "Yes".
