1543400 - How to restrict the export formats in Crystal reports designer?

• How to limit the options from export format list.
• To restrict the Crystal Reports export format.

• Crystal Reports 2008
• Crystal Reports XIR2

For Crystal Reports 2008:

1) Go to the Start Menu.                                                                                                                

2) Click on 'Add or Remove Programs'.                                                                                                 

3) Highlight Crystal Reports 2008.                                                                                                              

4) Click on 'Change' button.                                                                                                           

5) On the Application Maintenance Screen select the 'Modify' radio button.                                                           

6) Click next.                                                                                                                     

7) Expand the ‘+’ next to Export Support. This will give list of export options available.                                            

8) Select the arrow facing down and you will see an option as “Entire feature will not be available”.                                                

9) Select "Entire feature will not be available" for those options which you do not want in the export format list. 

For Crystal Reports XIR2:

1) Go to the Start Menu.                                                                                                               

2) Click on 'Add or Remove Programs'.                                                                                                

3) Highlight Crystal Reports XI Release 2.                                                                                                              

4) Click on 'Change' button.

5) On the Add/Remove Application screen Click on 'Add/Remove' button.

6) On the Select Features screen, expand the ‘+’ next to Export Support. This will give the list of export options available.

7) Select the arrow facing down and you will see an option as “Entire feature will be unavailable”.     

9) Select "Entire feature will be unavailable"  for those options which you do not want in the export format list.
