Symptom

  • You are using long Material Numbers in SAP ECC System as you use Automotive Solution.
  • You are transferring Material Master to SAP APO System via an Integration Model.
  • The integration fails with an error in application log, transaction /SAPAPO/C3:

    Product for external product number AAA1 and BSG XXX1 does not exist
    Message no. /SAPAPO/MAT040

    Creation not possible (Mapping for product BBB1 already exists XXX1)
    Message no. /SAPAPO/MAT059
