1543761 - "Non Supported datatype" error in Rich Client while creating reports based on a jdbc connection based universe

Symptom

  • The following error appears while creating a WebI report based on a JDBC connection based universe- "Non Supported datatype"
  • Issue only observed while using an object which has NVARCHAR datatype at the database level.
  • Issue only replicable with Rich Client. It works fine with in Infoview.
