URL Button component launches the URL when the URL field has been updated.

Xcelsius 2008 Service Pack 3

1. Launch Xcelsius.

2. Take URL Button component on canvas.

3. Go to the Properties window of URL Button component and perform following steps:

   a. Navigate to General tab and bind URL with some excel cell containing URL to launch.
   b. Navigate to Behavior tab, select When Value Changes and bind Trigger Cell with some excel cell.

4. Take Push Button component on canvas, navigate to General tab and perform following steps:

   a. Specify Label as Change URL.
   b. Bind Source Data to excel cell containing different URL.
   c. Bind Destination to excel cell where we have mapped URL of the URL button component in step 3.a.

5. Now take one more Push Button component, navigate to General tab and perform following steps:

   a. Specify Label as Trigger URL.
   b. Map its Destination with the excel cell where we have mapped Trigger Cell of URL Button component in step 3. b.

6. Preview the dashboard.

7. Click on Trigger URL Push Button and notice that the URL is launched in the Web Browser Window.

8. Now click on Change URL Push Button and notice that the URL is launched in the Web Browser Window.

9. Notice that the URL is launched on change of URL for the URL Button component.

This has been identified as a product defect under reference ADAPT01433555.

This issue has been resolved in Xcelsius 2008 Service Pack 3 Fix Pack 3.3.
