1544184 - For Excel XML Map, Refresh options are removed when migrating XLF files from Xcelsius 4.5 to Xcelsius 2008 SP3.

For Excel XML Map, the Refresh Before Components Are Loaded and Refresh Every options are removed from the dashboard when you migrate the XLF files from Xcelsius 4.5 to Xcelsius 2008 SP3.

• Xcelsius 2008 Service Pack 3

1.  Open Microsoft Excel and go to Data -> From Other Sources -> From XML Data Import menu.

2.  Select XML file and save the Excel spreadsheet (eg: SampleSpreadsheet).

3.  Open Xcelsius 4.5 and Import above spreadsheet file (SampleSpreadsheet) using Data -> Import menu inside Xcelsius.

4.  Go to Data Manager window using Data -> Connections menu and add Excel XML Maps connection.

5.  Go to Data Manager window and navigate to Usage tab.

6.  Check Refresh Before Components Are Loaded and Refresh Every options.

7.  Now save the XLF file and open it in Xcelsius 2008 Service Pack 3.

8.  Go to Data Manager and navigate to Usage tab.

9.  Notice that the Refresh Before Components Are Loaded and Refresh Every options are unchecked.

This issue has been resolved in Xcelsius Service Pack 3 Fix Pack 3.2.
