Symptom

  • "Import Failed" error message when importing large Web Intelligence reports into WebI Rich Client in 3-tier mode (J2EE or .NET Portal)
  • When importing WebI documents that are larger than 100 MB into WebI Rich Client, import fails with the error "Import Failed"
  • WebI Rich Client logs show:
    • **ERROR:cdzClusterFacadeImpl:RepoAccessException status WICDZClusterMgmt_FAILED_IMPORT_STATUS  [RepositoryFacadeImpl.cpp;874]
  • Purging data in the report does not reduce the size of the .wid and error persists
  • Importing in 2-tier mode (direct server login rather than using the J2EE or .NET Portal login) works
  • No problems viewing or editing via Infoview in Advanced, Interactive or Web viewers or editors
