1552527 - Error Message: "Cost center XYZ (Cost center name)/set of bks (Set of bks name); At least 1 period total unequal 0 in DD/MM/YYYY-DD/MM/YYYY"

You as a Organizational Manager, When you try to delimit a particular org unit. System throws below error message:

Cost center XYZ (Cost center name)/set of bks (Set of bks name); At least 1 period total unequal 0 in DD/MM/YYYY-DD/MM/YYYY

1. Go to Organizational Management work center.
2. Select Edit Org Structures.
3. Highlight an Org unit.
4. Go to Definitions tab.
5. Uncheck the cost center attribute.

The system works as designed.

If there are postings to the cost centers XYZ, then it is not possible to delimit these cost centers. The cost centers must remain valid until the end of the accounting period due to possible period closing postings in this period.
