1557034 - How to fix HTTP 404 error on the Crystal Reports DHTML viewer Java SDK posting back to CrystalReportViewerHandler?

Symptom

  • Web application views Crystal Reports using the DHTML Viewer Java SDK.
  • Either images in the report is not displayed (Red X) or export/printing does not work.
  • Tracing the HTTP communication, it is determined that access to the server-side resource http://<server>:<port>/<webapp>/CrystalReportViewerHandler is returning a HTTP 404 error.
