Symptom
When running a Data Manager package one of the following error messages may appear.
- On screen you might see a dialog box with the following message:
"An exception error has occurred, check the Log ID = 786611 for more details."
- In the error log files you might see errors such as:
"System.Exception: An exception error has occurred; check the Log ID = 787615 for more details at OSoftPackageLauncher.Exe.Main(String[] args)(Assembly: Unknown,Object:OSoft.Services.Application.DataMgr.PackageExecute2008.DTSX)"
"System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.SqlServer.ManagedDTS, Version=10.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
File name: 'Microsoft.SqlServer.ManagedDTS, Version=10.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91' at OSoft.Services.Application.DataMgr.PackageExecute2008.DTSX..ctor()"
- In the BPC Trace Log you may see messages like this:
