Symptom

Is the way that PCM treats negative resource driver splits, although mathematically correct, is logically correct?

Here is an example:

  • Total activity cost of £6 is split between 2 activities on a 1.2 to minus 0.20 ratio. 
  • In this instance one activity receives £7.20 while the other activity receives a negative cost of £1.20 making the total cost £6 (mathematically correct).
