1563763 - One of CMS servers cannot be started in a clustered environment

Symptom

  • Clustered installation, in which the CMS server on the secondary server/node will not start
  • CMS Stop & restart from the CMC just fails
  • All other servers (services) on the second node (server) show as running.
  • The CMS properties for the unsuccessful CMS show the following message:
    This server is considered failed because it has stopped 5 time(s) in 60 minute(s).
  • CMS logs indicate errors similar to :
  • SIServerController:run: Fail to initialize or uninitialize.  Reason is The root server reported an error Initialization Failure. (Reason: Database access error. Reason Loading shared object failed. First tried to load library clntsh and failed because of error: [ld.so.1: boe_cmsd: fatal: clntsh: open failed: No such file or directory]. Second tried to load library libclntsh.so and failed because of error: [ld.so.1: boe_cmsd: fatal: libclntsh.so: open failed: No such file or directory].Database access error. Reason Loading shared object failed. First tried to load library clntsh and failed because of error: [ld.so.1: boe_cmsd: fatal: clntsh: open failed: No such file or directory]. Second tried to load library libclntsh.so and failed because of error: [ld.so.1: boe_cmsd: fatal: libclntsh.so: open failed: No such file or directory].
