1565051 - SAP role import returns HTTP 500 error - The website cannot display the page

Symptom

  • After installing & configuring BI4.0 with Websphere Application server running on a Unix system, an error "The website cannot display the page HTTP 500" is thrown when SAP Authentication role import is accessed via the CMC.
  • This issue occurs on all supported Websphere installations running on UNIX/LINUX environments.
  • The issue does NOT occur on Tomcat Application server which gets installed by the BI4.0 installer
  • The issue does NOT occur on Websphere installations running on Windows platforms
  • Websphere logs indicate errors similar to:
    Caused by: java.lang.Throwable: java.lang.Throwable: java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError: Error getting the version of the native layer: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: sapjco3 (Not found in java.library.path)
