1568287 - Error: "Database error : ORA-01843 not a valid month" while running a Webi report

Symptom

  • In Web Intelligence, when attempting to create a Webi report based on an Oracle database, the following error message appears

"Database error : ORA-01843 not a valid month. Contact you Business Objects Administrator or database supplier for more information. (Error : WIS 10901)".

  • The filed is not timestamp at database its either Date or Character.
