1569252 - Where Clause field is shown in Select Statement in Show SQL query of Crystal Reports XI R2.

Symptom

Field used in record Select Expert is also shown in the select statement of Show SQL query.

Environment

Crystal Reports XI Release 2

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a report.
  2. Do not insert field in the report.
  3. Use a field in the Select Expert.
    4.
  4. Click on Database menu>Show SQL Query...
  5. In the SQL query the field used in Select Expert, is shown in the Select statement. Though field is not inserted in report.

Cause

This is the default behavior of the product.

Resolution

An Enhancement Request has been logged under ID ADAPT01187186. The Enhancement Request (ER) will be considered in terms of future product development when considering possible new features in the next major release. Please note that the ER may or may not be included depending on various factors.
