1571037 - When trying to view report saved in Excel Data only format from Infoview then the following error message is received "View [1].xls cannot be accessed. The file may be corrupted, located on a server that is not responding, or read-only."

When trying to view report saved in Excel Data only format from Infoview then the following error message is received "View [1].xls cannot be accessed. The file may be corrupted, located on a server that is not responding, or read-only." When trying to open the same report from CMC, the report opens without any issues.

1. Login to Infoview.
2. Open a successful instance which was scheduled in Excel Data only format.
3. Receive the error "View [1].xls cannot be accessed. The file may be corrupted, located on a server that is not responding, or read-only."
 

1. Stop Apache Tomcat in Central Configuration Management.
2. Navigate to the BusinessObjects install directory.
3. Navigate to Tomcat55 > webapps.
4. Take a backup of AnalyticalReporting, InfoViewAPP, InfoViewAppActions and PlatformServices and delete these folders.
5. Now, Navigate to Tomcat55 > work > Catalina > localhost.
6. Take a backup of this folder and delete the contents of this folder.
7. Now start the Apache Tomcat in Central Configuration Management.
8. Try to login to Infoview and view the report saved in Excel Data only format.
