File Open dialog box appears when exporting the dashboard to Business Objects Enterprise (BOE).

• Business Objects Enterprise 3.1 Service Pack 2 Fix Pack 2.8
• Business Objects Enterprise Client Tools Fix Pack 2.8
• Xcelsius 2008 Service Pack 3
• Windows XP Service Pack 2
• Microsoft Office 2003

1. Install Xcelsius 2008 Service Pack 3.
2. Install Business Objects Enterprise (BOE) 3.1 client tools.
3. Apply Business Objects Enterprise (BOE) 3.1 client tools Fix Pack 2.8.
4. Launch Xcelsius, Open the dashboard and click on File -> Export -> SAP BusinessObjects Platform menu.
5. Notice that the File Open dialog box appears instead of Log On to BusinessObjects Enterprise.

Xcelsius 2008 has not been completely installed

Repair the Xcelsius installation.

Steps to repair Xcelsius installation:

1. Go to Add or Remove Programs under Control Panel.
2. Select Xcelsius 2008 and click on Change.
3. Notice that the following window is displayed:

4. Select Repair and click on Next.
5. Notice that the following window is displayed:

6. Click on Next to start Xcelsius repair.
7. Finally click on Finish to complete Xcelsius repair.
